Long Island City and Hunters Point more specifically has some of the best Italian restaurants in NYC. At the top of this list is Maiella, along with its sister bistro, American Brass, both representing some of the best dining in to be found at the Long Island City waterfront.

Not to be outdone by its Italian and American peers, Casa Enrique is a fantastic, Michelin starred Mexican Restaurant with delectable and unique takes on high-end Mexican fare.

Other neighborhood favorites include: sushi restaurants Sushi Daizen (omakase) and Hibino, contemporary American restaurant Bellweather, and The Baroness for burgers and craft beers.

LIC has some of the best craft breweries in NYC with refined staples and a rotating list of seasonal offerings. Some of the standouts: Fifth Hammer Brewing, Icon NYC Brewing, and Big Alice Brewing.

Wake up with some morning coffee from any of the fantastic coffee shops and cafes in the neighborhood, such as Black Star Bakery & Cafe, The Mill, Beanstalk Cafe, or LIC Corner Cafe.

For a fun night out and some good drinks, head over to LIC Bar, Dutch Kills, or The Beast Next Door.
